Sport Fishing

We have over 60 I.G.F.A world records.  Our lodge is world renowned for its inshore and offshore fishing. The lodge will customize any range of fishing adventure the angler desires, from inshore to offshore or fishing the river banks. We carry the most modern fishing equipment where our clients will have the ability to select any tackle of choice, from ultra light to fly. Our English speaking captains are well known for their persistent and competitive nature, are all highly trained to ensure that our clients experience that ultimate fishing adventure at the Zancudo Lodge.

Your boat will be stocked with, lunch, a cooler and cold beverages of your choice.  It's all included in your package!

Our fishing is year round. 

Fish for Marlin, Blue, Black, Striped and Sailfish, Roosterfish, Dorado, Big Eye Tuna, Yellow Fin Tuna, Snapper, Amber Jack, Grouper, Wahoo, Snook, Jack Crevelle, Corvina, Amberjack, Triple Tail, Rainbow Runner and more!

All Marlin species are caught year round. The peak time for Blue Marlin is November and December, March and April, while the Black Marlin peak is during July and August.

Sailfish are caught year round but peak from November to May. It is not unusual to catch more than 20 Sails in any given day.

Some of the best Snook fishing is found on our river May threw September. Choose your weapon, from ultra light spinning gear to fly rods. 

Large yellowfin, in the 200-300lb range are often found feeding under the large schools or porpoises. Schoolie sized Yellowfin are available year round. Bigeye, considered the bruisers in the tuna family, are common in our area. Hooking a large Bigeye will lead you on an epic multi-hour fight.
